Amacci’s Katie Skin!

Hello! Real life has been taking me away from my little blog and I haven’t been able to update it like I want to. I hate finals, but hey I survived The Rapture, and now it’s time to show you some skin. This is a new release from Amacci and it’s at the Skin and Shape Expo except I fail so hard that this was over yesterday. I am so sorry, but this skin is awesome and hopefully you already bought it or it’ll be in their main stores soon!
New Store: [Tia] Apparel

Greetings! Today I was asked by a up and coming designer to review some of her latest items. Tia Biscuit of [Tia] Apparel dropped a couple of her latest reviews of the items she made. Tia has just recently started creating things so there is still a lot for her to learn, but has a great personality and she is eager to learn new things. She asked me to review her first release items and give my feed back. I was very amazed by the level of talent she has to be such a novice! I love the concepts she has with the turnup cords and jeans. The sculpy cuff is scripted to change colors and the belt menu works just the same. The cords and jeans are probably my favorite out of her releases! They’re perfect for the summer.

If casual isn’t your thing, also being released is a dress called Lorena. The Lorena dress reminds me of something Lorena from True Blood would wear. In fact, I think this is something she had on. The top of the dress comes on a shirt layer and the bottom of the shirt is designed to be connected to the skirt. This means you can’t wear the shirt alone, though I wish I could because it’s really cute. The only thing I didn’t like if I had to pick at anything was how the skirt was constructed. It’s personally not my particular taste, but when you put it together with the whole outfit, I think it’s really adorable. I can’t believe this is her first dress ever. If this is Tia’s first dress constructed, then I can’t wait to see how she is going to grow as a designer in SL. I’m really excited for her.
And You Played It to the Beat …

Ahhh I hate being sick! It’s not a good feeling and I always cough until I feel like I’m about to pass out. The good thing is even though I’m sick IRL, I can come into SL and shop like crazy. I really like the new hair from Anaphora even if my head was too big for the hair to begin with. I found these Gouchos from Addict at Culture Shock The skin is a freebee from Al Vulo in a hunt. I really like this skin and I hope there will be a release for the face without the make up. The other items are from this week’s FLF and hopefully you picked it up! The sickness is taking over and it’s back to bed for me! Click for the credits.

Here is a map of the event with the SURLS.

I got this little outfit from the booth at ~*Indie Rose*~. This outfit looked adorable on the vendor and I couldn’t wait to buy it. Unfortunately I think because I’m a smaller avatar it kind of looks bulky on me. Still, I think it’s kind of adorable and I wish I had the length on me to pull it off. I paired it with the new hair from Boon. I really like the way they do hair pieces with hair bases there.

On Clear:
Skin: Dutch Touch – Megan
Hair: Boon – YNO421
Hair piece: (bangs) Boon – TANA01
Lashes: Lelutka – 2011 lashes (curl)
Eyes: Poetic Colors – Fairy Eyes (Cinderella)
Outfit: Indie Rose – Boho Frilled Tube Top with Layered Floral Skirt
Shoes: Elikatira – Move Pumps
Earrings: Uzuri – Mwezi Gold Earrings

I got invited as one of the lucky bloggers who got to preview things before it was open to the public and let me tell you, there are a LOT of things I like/wanted. I’ll definitely post again but this is just a taste (a very small taste) of what’s there. I learned how to work shadows in SL (FINALLY) and decided to snap a couple of pictures. Here is a map of the event as well as some SURLS. Do not miss this when it finally opens up!

Tuli’s Sara skin.

There are always a few things across the grid that makes me forget I’m a full time student/worker and makes me want to show it with all of you immediately. Tuli is one of my favorite skin designers and I love how each face gets better and better. Sara is fresh faced and it reminds me of spring time just looking at her. Sara comes with the usual; four different eyebrows, freckles, lashes, cleavage, and different color lipsticks (all on tattoos). I took a lot of pictures to show off the skin. I even with to Nylon Outfitters to buy and try out the new photobooth they have there. It has been updated with new backgrounds and poses, and for 850L it’s totally worth it! Check out everything after the cut.
What’s your digits?!

Thanks to this, I’m now currently obsessed with my shape and I now think I’m deformed.
New things from Tres Blah and Luck Inc

I logged into SL and today was the first day I felt like blogging. I got notecards from Luck Inc and Tres Blah of their two new releases. I don’t think either goes with the other, but together I like the style. This is a quick blog because it’s time for my bed!
Welcome Back.

Greetings people! I’m Clear Canning (formerly of LesGirls) and I’ve been running this blog for a few months. The only problem is that I haven’t been blogging like I used to because I didn’t have a decent computer to take pictures on. Well, now all of that has changed and I’m going to try to get here to blog at least two times a week. I’m also in school and I work full time so it’s going to be hard, but I’m going to try.
After wearing to death my Dutch Touch skin, I saw a notice from Pink Fuel about the The Diamond is Mine Hunt 2. I instantly went to the store to find the skin and I fell in love with it immediately. Some skins people use for hunts are not for every day wear and while the eye make up is kind of extreme, it’s still gorgeous and I’ll wear it every day until I can get a darker tone. It’s a good thing I like being blond or I’ll have a problem.
Today’s outfit was just something simple I found while scouring SL and sorting out my notecards. It’s pretty basic, but I think it fits my mood right now. Anyway, it feels great to have a decent graphics card where I hardly have to do anything to edit the pictures, but I will continue to work on my photoshop skills, but in the mean time enjoy the rest of your week and the credits of this outfit is behind the cut!
New release from Elemiah Design.

When I logged into SL today, I found a notecard from Elemiah Choche of Elemiah Design about her newest release, Tip Top. I thought I’d give it a look over. It’s a springy halter top with a matching skirt. The skirt and top are prims which comes with a resize script. I had to shrink my breasts down to 0 and or it would have looked a little chunky on me because I’m a tiny avatar. I like the concept of this outfit, but there are a few things I didn’t like. I think this outfit would look ten times better if the straps and top portion of the dress was a solid black color. The texture looks stretched out to me and it takes away from the overall outfit. You can find this at Elemiah Designs if you like it. Click the link below to find out the credits for this look.
